WHO: Faulkner University faculty and staff, Alabama Technology Foundation, Faulkner senior Zilin “Ian” Chen.
WHAT: Alabama Technology Foundation will formally present Zilin “Ian” Chen with a special scholarship for his work in the Computer Science field. Chen is a Computer Science major entering his senior year this fall. An international student, Chen hails from northern China and came to Alabama when he was still in high school. Chen has maintained a 4.0 average GPA and is a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society, the Faulkner Computer Club and Sigma Zeta, the National Science and Mathematics Honor Society.
WHERE: The Carmichael Board Room in the Harris College of Business. (Drive through the main entrance and keep right. Make an immediate left into the curved parking area in front of the Harris College of Business located in the front of campus. The board room is located on the second floor at the top of the stair or make a right off the elevator.)
WHEN: 3:30 p.m. on August 15, 2019. Ceremony will be brief.
