ASU & U.S. Army to Sign Education Partnership Agreement on Aug. 2.

WHEN: August 2 (Friday), @ 11 a.m.

WHERE: ASU President’s Conference Room, Councill Hall, 915 South Jackson St.    

Alabama State University will enter into an Education Partnership Agreement (EPA) for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) with the U.S. Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC).  

The official signing ceremony and announcement will be presided over by ASU’s President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr., and it will be held on August 2, at 11 a.m. in the ASU President’s Conference Room, which is located in Councill Hall at 915 South Jackson St.     


The EPA provides opportunities for students by encouraging and enhancing science, technology, mathematics and engineering education at all levels of education for ASU’s students and faculty. This agreement also promotes workforce development opportunities for ASU students.  

The media is invited to attend this important signing ceremony between ASU and the U.S. Army.
