The Small Business Development Center at Alabama State University (SBDC) joins the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, and other agencies across the nation to celebrate National Small Business Week (NSBW). This celebratory week is designed to recognize the critical contributions of entrepreneurs and small businesses locally and across the nation.
Thursday’s event offers you an opportunity to report on local residents who are involved with small businesses at a premier local event (that is free to all River Region businesspeople) that is hosted by ASU and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, which is titled “Creating a Strong Online Presence for Marketing Success Workshop.”
This event takes place on Thursday (May 9) from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Chamber’s Business Resource Center, which is located at 600 S. Court Street, Montgomery, Ala.
THURSDAY’S EVENT is open to everyone (free of charge) and it caters to entrepreneurs and business owners who are looking to grow their online presence and increase sales. This workshop will offer quick and easy tips that can be used to start building and enhancing a businesses’ online presence, which you may share with your news consumers. It also offers you ready-made local news sources to highlight Small Business Week.
Offering advice and instruction to local business folks at the workshop will be by one of the area’s acclaimed online marketing business gurus, Kenley Obas, who is with Kindred Technology Group, LLC.
