Nat King Cole’s Brother “Freddie” Tours Nat’s Historic Birthplace on ASU Campus

When:  Sunday (March 17), @ Noon. 

Where:  The Nat King Cole Historic Birth Home; on ASU’s campus, Harris Way Drive (near the arched gateway over I-85).

NOTE: The public is invited.

The Nat King Cole Society and Alabama State University’s National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture invites the news media to come and interview Nat King Cole’s brother – Freddie Cole – as he revisits his and Nat’s historic birthplace in Montgomery on ASU’s campus.

This all takes place on Sunday (March 17) at Noon, which is part of the centennial birthday gala celebration of his late and famous brother.

Join city, county and state officials who will be on hand to welcome Cole and other family members as they come back home after many years and tour their old birthplace, and speak to the news media. The public is also invited to attend the event.
